Critical Thinking Workshop

Soft Skills Training for Employees

Working with a lead instructional designer and project manager, I created this for a training workshop for a company that provides training for companies in many industries. The aim of the course is to actively engage employees to use soft skills such as critical thinking skills in their workplace. The majority of the employees are new graduates who recently started working.

Workplace Training Program

Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI)

This training program is tailored to higher education faculty. This training is an essential component to train all employees so that they can build awareness of unconscious bias, cultural competence, or other barriers to diversity, equity, inclusion (DEI), and belonging.

Healthcare Course

Patient Service Associate Program

This is intended for a learning institute for mid-career transitioning adults. The lessons need to be tailored in a manner to suit the learning needs of these middle aged adults. Recognising that they may struggle with technology, it was essential to create a simple interface using Articulate Rise. To prepare for this, I conducted a learner needs analysis (part of the ADDIE model: Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, & Evaluate) and created a user persona.

Digital Preparatory School

Concentration

This portfolio piece will be revised in Q3 2022.

This is intended for a digital preparatory school. The aim of the course to actively engage students through real-life issues pertaining to the Science concept, “Concentration”. I used Design Thinking to create a storyboard and prototype for a lesson about the water crisis in Flint, Michigan.

RK Corporation

New Hire Orientation

This portfolio piece will be revised in Q3 2022.

This is intended for an import/export industrial company. The HR department wants the new hires to go through active learning so that they are engaged with the company’s policies and can discuss them with their managers and co-workers. I used a branching scenario to create an e-learning course using Adobe Captivate.
